FSSP National Summit – Savannah, Georgia

The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick will hold it’s National Summit Meetings in Savannah, Georgia starting on Thursday, September 28th, running until Sunday, October 1st. A number of FSSP organizations meet each year at the National Summit to discuss and share ideas that each club brings to the table: increasing membership, attracting younger members, fund raising events, and the traditional St. Patrick’s Parade in each city. After the meetings, we usually have a historic tour of the area, ending with Pub Crawls to make sure that we know all of the Irish Pubs in town, in this case, Savannah!
Thursday, Sept. 28 – Meet & Greet, hotel check in at The DeSoto Savannah, Hospitality Room Welcome, and Gift Bag with T-shirt. Evening spent exploring local Pubs.
Friday, Sept. 29 – Noon Summit Luncheon Meeting sharing Best Practices; 4:00 PM – Historic Trolley Tour; Evening Dinner with beer included.
Saturday, Sept. 30 – Independent tour of Savannah; Open Dinner on your Own; 7:30 PM – Pub Crawl of the Finest Savannah Irish Pubs (5 drink tokens included). We start at Kevin Barry’s.
Sunday, Oct. 1 – Farewell Brunch (TBD)
If enough of the Baltimore members decide to go, we can rent a van, and carpool down, saving our money for the evening libations!
